My name is Lily Kronfeld and I am a junior at Emory University. In addition to being an English major, I have taken many business school classes. I am a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta. I ride hunt seat and jumpers for Emory’s equestrian team. From a young age, I have been passionate about cosmetics, and plan to make a career within the beauty industry. This summer I will be interning for L’Oreal as a marketer within their Professional Products Division. I am excited by the opportunity to fuse my love for aesthetics, creativity and business, as well as become immersed in this transformative field. This past summer I worked for Dry Bar, a trending hairstyling franchise that has met consumer demand with affordable yet luxurious salon services. This experience fostered my deep passion for innovative endeavors within the beauty industry. Here I learned about the many factors that drive market decisions. I have continued to expand my interest in different aspects of the trade that will help facilitate my future successes. I love spending time researching new products and reading the scientific personal products publication called Happi. I am fascinated by product manufacturing, labeling and technology. My other interests include cooking, playing guitar and traveling.
